Vintage fashion is, well, in fashion at the moment, and everyone’s out looking for authentic pre-loved clothes, accessories and homewares. Many of the Northwest’s vintage fashionistas could be found at Victoria Baths in March, browsing through the goods on offer at the Baths first Open Day WITH Vintage Fair. There was the usual chance to enjoy a guided tour of Victoria Baths, take photographs and enjoy some of the fantastic homemade cake in the cafe, but this Open Day also offered the opportunity to bag yourself a whole new (old) wardobe, as the Baths came alive with twenties flappers, fifties rock ‘n’ roll, and glamorous shoppers.
I took a spin through the stalls to capture the atmosphere of the day, as well as to chat to some of the stallholders and shoppers about their experience of the Baths.

A great day and a great cause to be in some small way involved.
We met all kinds of folk and had fun playing our 78 Gramophone records which sounded wonderful in the old baths. We’re looking forward to coming back again sometime, wheather it’s to play the old tunes or maybe one day for a swim.
Cheers

Thanks Matt & Annabel,
Your music made a lovely background to the videos too! Think everyone enjoyed them on the day.
