VICTORIA SWIMMING CLUB
In 2004 the Friends of Victoria Baths re-launched the historic Victoria Swimming Club (1910-1920s) as a club for people who want to swim with others in the historic swimming pools of Manchester. We currently have regular mixed sessions at
Levenshulme Pool
on the
3rd Wednesday of each month
from
7.00 – 8.00 pm.
The dates for the second half of 2011 are:
20th July, 17th August, 21st September, 19th October, 16th November, and 21st December (with a meal afterwards).
We hope in future to be able to swim at Victoria Baths. If there is enough demand we could also arrange swimming lessons at beginners or improvers levels.
Membership is free of charge and payment for sessions is by donation. Any level of swimming proficiency welcome. All ages welcome.
We also organise occasional outings or visits, mainly to other historic pools in other parts of the country. If you have any suggestions please let us know.
